Setting Up Your Profile

Once you have logged in to Chefadora, you can easily set up and customise your profile. Your profile is where other users can see all your recipes and public collections. 

Your name, profile photo, bio, and social links will appear under each of your recipes. This helps your fans learn more about you and connect with you on other platforms.

Follow these steps to complete or edit your profile:

Accessing Your Profile

Navigate to Your Profile

  • On desktop: Click on the profile icon on the left navigation bar.

  • On mobile: Tap on the profile icon on the bottom navigation bar.

Editing Your Profile

1. Open Profile Settings:

  • Click on the "Edit Profile" button to open profile settings.

2. Add a Profile Photo:

  • Click on the small camera icon.

  • Choose a photo from your device to upload.

3. Update Your Information:

  • Name: Enter or update your name.

  • Bio: Add a short bio to introduce yourself. This could include your cooking style, favourite cuisines, or anything else you'd like to share.

4. Include Your Social Profiles:

Add your social media usernames so others can find you on different platforms. Follow the below steps to find your social media usernames:

  • Facebook: 

    1. Open facebook in your web browser and go to your profile page. 

    2. In the URL, your username is the part after "facebook.com/". For example, in "facebook.com/johndoe", "johndoe" is your username.

    3. Copy your username and paste it into the Facebook username field in Chefadora. 

  • Instagram:

    • Web Browser

      1. Open Instagram in your web browser and go to your profile page.

      2. In the URL, your username is the part after "instagram.com/". For example, in "instagram.com/johndoe", "johndoe" is your username.

      3. Alternatively, your username is also displayed next to your profile picture on the profile page.

      4. Copy your username and paste it into the Instagram username field in Chefadora.

    • App

      1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile page.

      2. Your username is displayed at the top left, above your profile picture.

      3. Copy your username and paste it into the Instagram username field in Chefadora.

  • Youtube:

    1. Open YouTube in your browser or app, and click on your profile picture on the top right side.

    2. You can see your username just below your name, starting with "@". For example, "@johndoe".

    3. Copy your username, including the "@" symbol, and paste it into the YouTube username field in Chefadora.

  • TikTok:

    • Web Browser

      1. Open TikTok in your web browser and go to your profile page. 

      2. In the URL, your username is the part after “tiktok.com/”. For example, in “tiktok.com/@johndoe”, “@johndoe” is your username. 

      3. Copy your username, including the “@” symbol, and paste it into the TikTok username field in Chefadora. 

    • App

      1. Open the TikTok app and go to your profile page.

      2. Your username is displayed at the top of your profile page, next to your profile picture.

      3. Copy your username and paste it into the TikTok username field in Chefadora. Make sure to add the "@" symbol before your username.

  • Pinterest

    1. Open Pinterest in your web browser and go to your profile page.

    2. In the URL, your username is the part after "pinterest.com/". For example, in "pinterest.com/johndoe", "johndoe" is your username.

    3. Copy your username and paste it into the Pinterest username field in Chefadora.

5. Add a Link in Bio:

  • Enter a title and URL for your link in bio. You can promote your business, other websites, or anything you want.

6. Save Changes

  • Click the “Save Changes” button to save any updates.
